Spectacular - change nothing. Maho & Youseff our main points of contact were helpful knowledgable & good fun. A slice of heaven on earth. Amazing to watch a sand storm come through & the staff swing into action to get things back to normal for the guests (vacuum the pool & sweep sweep sweep )

We were well looked after by Hassan, his brothers, and the staffs. Very good location, the camp is new, private, and perfect for sunrise and star photos. Our room is beautifully decorated and spacious. Breakfast and dinner are generous and tasty. Excellent Berber music performance and campfire at night. We joined the camel rides and quad biking with them, the arrangement was good too. Highly recommended! Big thanks to Hassan’s team again!

The tent was amazing, it was very clean and tide. The decoration is typical from Morroco, comfortable and the sky view is amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. The kind employees play local music and try to teach us to play the instruments. We have a good time there. If it’s possible, stay more than one night it worths!

Everything except the food (see disclaimer). As long as you're not expecting Michelin star dining, i think you'd be extremely satisfied with everything else that Soleil has to offer. We were attended to by Ayoub and he was a great host. Responsive, helpful, informative, with a good command of English. He gave clear instructions for us to park our rental car at Hotel Cafe du Sud (free and safe parking), picked us and our luggage up in his 4x4, and dropped us at the start point of our camel ride (sunset camel ride to the campsite @ 15 euros/pax). Camel ride itself was quite an experience and i would recommend it if you've never been on one before (also the camels didn't smell bad since it was winter/cold). Towards the end of the camel ride the nomad camel guide will sit you down and peddle his wares to earn some additional income.. we just saw it as an appropriate opportunity to offer him some money as tips for his good service. No issues =) Soleil camp is a 2-month old (at point of writing this review, Feb 2023) campsite. It is considered a more 'private' campsite as it only houses 4 accommodation tents for guests, so i would recommend this if you're not a fan of big rowdy tourist crowds. However, as with most of the other desert camps, you're still within sight (and earshot) of neighbouring camps/companies, so you can forget about being 'alone in the desert'. Location of this campsite is a distance away from the big Erg Chebbi dunes.. so if your intention is to climb the dune.. you might want to choose an alternate site or arrange a quadbike ride. Because it's new, the interior of the accommodation tents are clean and in tiptop condition. Very spacious and more than enough for a traveling couple. No room heating or air conditioning (the place runs mainly on solar power with a gas generator as backup), but you do get hot water (heated by fire wood) and a steady supply of water.

the place was highlight of our trip. we are glad we stayed for 2 days. had a wonderful time in and outside the tent. food was also good. they helped us with parking. also dropped us early in the morning for our onward journey. one tip - if you could ask food preference of the customers before their stay, it will help you plan the inventory for customers better.

Spending a weekend at this camp was one of the best decisions of our trip. The place is simply magical, surrounded by dunes that change color with the sunlight. Our tent was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after our activities. During the day, we went on a camel ride and a quad bike ride that allowed us to explore further from the camp. At sunset, the view was breathtaking, and at night, we enjoyed traditional music under the stars. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff was always attentive, smiling, and very friendly. We truly felt cared for at all times

From the moment I arrived at the Unique Desert Camp, I knew I was in for something special. The entire experience was beyond my expectations! The team was amazing welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their hospitality made me feel like part of the family. The tents were not just comfortable but also luxurious. They were beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and equipped with air conditioning, making it an ideal retreat after a day under the desert sun. It’s a perfect blend of comfort and nature truly a 10star experience in the middle of the desert! One of the highlights was the camel trek. Watching the sunset over the dunes as I rode across the golden sands was nothing short of magical. It felt like stepping into another world. The beauty of the desert is something you have to experience to fully appreciate, and the camp gave me the best vantage point for that. Berber hospitality is real, and this team exemplifies it in the best possible way. Every moment felt personalized and warm, from the warm welcome upon arrival to the delicious meals.
