The location is really nice. There is a beautiful beach to swim and nice views from the restaurant area. The staff and owner were very kind.

Kokoa Sands is by the Ankasy beach! The owners are very accommodating, friendly and always willing to help. The food was delicious, made with care. They even make their own sorbet ice cream. Kokoa Sands is a wonderful family business that will make every possible way to make your holidays as enjoyable as they can! It was very much appreciated that they cared for me when I got a bit of cold/ sore throat. What touched me that most is that the owners (this lovely couple) support their local community by providing a teacher for a month to the local village since the children have very limited opportunities for education. I was also informed that they provide rice to locals when there times of starvation. Last but not least, they protect their local Baobab park. In terms of entertainment, I did snokerlling and I visited the Fasika Be! I loved both activities! I wish I could stay for longer. I would definitely recommend Kokoa Sands to anyone.

The bungalows at Shangri-la Lodge has view to a wonderful beach and the sea. We travelled there by 4WD from Toliara. Absolutely worth the drive. Bungalows are nice and clean. The hotel arranged for local fishermen to take us out snorkeling and freediving. A really nice place, and perfect place to combine relaxation on the beach with exploration of the sea. There are also some nice Baobab trees nearby.
