The property is modern and trendy only a few years old..very spacious and well laid out.. kitchen is fully fitted with all mod cons..appliances are superb all three bedrooms were ample with fitted furniture.. air con.. ceiling fans etc.. lovely beach a short walk.. swimming pool with loungers all exceptional conveniences that made a great stay.

The Stay with Fabrice, Pascale and Familiy was an extraordinary experience. From the first moment of online contact to our arrival until our departure, everything exceeded our expectations (costumer delight on the highest level). After our arrival, we got many valuable tips for adventures and restaurants, where to shop, including activities in the region that were a big value add to our experience. Our apartment was well equipped, tidy, and clean, if somethig was needed, the hosts were always around to help and the property itself was heaven within Tamarin. We really enjoyed our time there with the hosts plus their lovely dogs. It felt like being at home. Thanks again for everything, and I can highly recommend this place for a stay on Mauritius. Best experience!! To be repeated! E & R

This hotel is a real gem! New building in an amazing location just across from a lovely white sand beach in Flic en Flac. My room was HUGE and had a large balcony facing g the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety of food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

    Sure La Preneuse is the nearest beach, though If you're looking for the best beaches around, take that trip to Le Morne beach, it's worth it. We went to the only Thai restaurant in the area,'Ousaporn', indeed an oasis in that small town, great Deco, felt right, the staffs were admirable, the food was succulent but portion were quite small disproportionately over-priced . A day at the beach at Flic en flac is worth the tour, watch the sun set into the deep sea, then hit one of the restaurant around the area.

    Great first time visit to the Island. Beautiful beaches with a multitude of activities for all ages. Christmas Day boat trip to Ile Aux Benitiers, which included a tasty braai (barbeque) swimming with dolphins and snorkeling around Crystal Rock

    At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was that only one tv channel was in English - BBC World. All others in French / Creole. No mainstream music channels. Tamarin is a small village, full of friendly people. The atmosphere is open and you get the sense of tranquility and safety. It is centrally located for South and West visiting. something for everyone.

    The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic.

    The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic. You can get anything there, even gifts. The Coffee shop at the Super U was two times cheaper than the other Coffee Shops. It is not very expensive at the Super U. We ate at the Happy Rajah and the Casa Pizza. The food was fantastic.

    The hotel has a nice spa, the activities were nice including Credits depending on the length of your stay. The staff is very nice and mostly helpful. However, the shower was broken and the shower door was leaking water so that every time we took a shower half the bathroom was under water. The baths and toilet were not properly cleaned and the sun lounger at the pool were dirty.

    The aparment was large and perfectly situated with a view of both the ocean and the mountains. It was well equipped, even for cooking. It offers both a large terrace with jacuzzi where it invites you to have breakfast or dinner, overlooking the sunrise/sunset. There is a well-stocked large supermarket nearby, and the beach is within walking distance. Tamarin is a town strategically located for trips to the whole island. Cécil was a great host, friendly, always advised us with tips e.g. restaurants and very communicative.

    - Hotel offers a lot of activities - You can get to the nature (hiking, other tours, beaches) very easily - The food was great, a lot of different dishes. Def recommend taking breakfast and dinner (there are no other restaurants around and the buffee has different meals every evening) - Every evening there was live music until 21:00 so super nice and also not disturbing the sleeptime

    Great location, had everything we needed including a well-equipped kitchen. Great to have the TV and internet was good. Close to a supermarket and easy drive or walk to Tamarin. Close to lots of attractions in the west by car. Nice sunset view from the balcony, birds that sit in the trees and a well kept pool with sun loungers.

    Great tips from Harold and Magali. They were very helpful. They provided kayaks so you could see the dolphins in Tamarin Bay. It is advisable to have a rented car to access the property .
