We loved our stay and would have been happy to stay longer. Manuela was super helpful with recommendations - whatever you want to see or do or eat in town she has a quality recommendation you can trust. We organized a whale watching excursion through her contact and it was an amazing experience. Also they keep the place impeccably clean, and there are all these small touches about the place which make it a super comfortable and homey place to stay. Like there's a communal kitchen and fridge, coffee and tea if you want to make it, umbrellas and a cooler if you want to borrow it for a beach day, sunscreen and bug spray - everything we needed we had it there or the hosts pointed us in the right direction. It really feels like the kind of place set up by seasoned travelers who understand what you need to feel comfortable and stress free when you are away from home. We would happily stay there next time we are in Puerto Escondido!

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't expecting much from this place but we were really pleased. Comfy beds, strong wifi, balcony that caught the sun with ocean views. Shower had hot water too, which seems to be rare in Mexico! Staff were super lovely 👍

Diego is an amazing host and will make sure that your stay is wonderful. The location is great. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Puerto Escondido. Playa Carrizalillo and Coral are also a short walk from the hotel. Convenience stores and wonderful breakfast places nearby. I would not hesitate to book a room at Quiote Quiote.
