Historical town with old buildings are well maintained. Sri Annapurna, Anna and Semmoli restaurants served good food. Many Indian florists along Jalan Pasar. It is easy to get around by Grab and the fees are reasonable. Taiping Lake Gardens is a sight to behold with old big trees. A nice small town for a family vacation. The Taman Tasik Taiping (Lake Gardens) and Taiping Zoo are both in the same area, and can be covered in a single trip. Taiping brings back to our lovely childhood memories from its buildings, ambience and its natures. We plan for a leisure trip and spent our time at Zoo Taiping, Telegraph Museum and Lake Taiping. We stayed at The Halt Tiny House near Simpang Halt, it was very lovely and giving 60-70s era and we had so much fun for the staycation. Taiping is such a chill place . No rush , No fuss , just chill vibe . Lots of Greeneries left and right . suitable for those who just want to relax & have a peace of mind. The receptionist on the night shift of 22/12/2023 was really helpful. The baby cot provided is ample and comfortable for my baby. The location of the hotel is quite convenient. There is a nice malay restaurant at the corner beside al-ikhsan. There is a laundry a couple meters away. Very near to Kamunting town. Easy to get to town by car.
