    We decided to stay here for just one night on our way to our final destination, but had I known it was such a beautiful place, we would have extended our stay. Kasteel Engelenburg is a historic hotel with lots of atmosphere which offers delicious breakfasts and dinners. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a spacious and comfortable room in what I believe were the converted stables. It had its own terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. We will definitely make an effort to come back!

    We love, love, love this place and come back to Engelenburg once in a while. The atmosphere is wonderful- a bit of royalty, a bit of safari, a bit of luxury, a bit of vintage charme. Not everything is perfect but this is exactly what it makes the hotel so special. The restaurant is excellent. I would definitely recommend to dine here. And of course you need to enjoy their terrace with view to the lake and the golf course.

    The hotel was beautiful in a lovely country setting. Our room was in the carriage house and it was quirky and fun. The bed was wonderful. Breakfast was incredible, with an equallly stunning view. But what makes this place exceptional is the staff. They go out of their way (literally in our case) to help. You really feel the hospitality. What a wonderful place.

    The hotel is set in a beautiful location with lots of wildlife. We particularly enjoy sitting on the lovely terrace when we are there. We have visited twice and we certainly hope to be back again on one of our Europe roadtrips. The rooms are comfortable and food is great too. It is a lovely stay and we would highly recommend it.
