The host was charming and welcoming and genuinely cared that I have everything I needed, took the time to introduce me to items unfamiliar to me such as the European coffee maker, lights, and climate controls. She was wonderful! The room was also charming. This one room with full bath guest house was more than sufficient for my needs and was so very comfortable. All the creature comforts and the details put together with great care. I will absolutely go back!

Very good communication from the host, even though we never actually managed to meet in person (We were attending an event so were not in much). The kitchen was very well appointed and the beds very comfortable. The shower was great with lots of towel (or should I say face cloths since they are very small). Parking was easy and location was good for my needs. Good internet with a nice smart TV.

    Emmen is a beautiful city with a lot to see and do.

    Emmen is a beautiful city with a lot to see and do. Wildlands is always worth a visit and seeing the hunebeds. The Atlas theatre always has something going on and worthwhile going to. Thijs and Co is a great place to eat and they often have live music. The Brasserie is another great place to eat with great food. Shops are also open on the last Sunday of the month so you can do extra shopping.

    The nature there is amazing!

    The nature there is amazing! So many green spaces 💚 I loved Het Appeltje:) Wildlands is a great park! Also there was an impressive street market on Tuesday. The vibe of the town is very chill and friendly! There are many good restaurants in the city centre :)

    I stayed there overnight, the entrance for the hotel I had trouble finding, but the receptionist came downstairs and helped me find the place. Great friendly staff, and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend to stay.

    We went to Emmen to visit the zoo, but it is a lovely place to walk around. The ancient gravestones "de hunenbedden" are close by (you can walk to the location D43). Good variety of restaurants.

    Large villa with a lounge, fireplace, large dining room, cozy living rooms and plus a cozy courtyard with a pool with fish. Situated in the center of Emmen. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. I especially recommend the restaurant Lorenzo's. Also very close is located the amazing zoo Wildland. The owners of the villa are amazing people, caring, smart and generous people, always ready to listen, help with advice and come to the rescue. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Lovely, private, rural setting. Not just a whole house with a covered outside sitting area, but also a lovely garden to relax in. Totally private. Cute, farmhouse feel to the house. Very close to the city of Emmen by car.
