    Zwolle is a safe, lovely city, yet - there are good shopping possibilities. Many green areas, general cleanliness, not too much graffiti or stickers (compared to larger cities like Rotterdam). The cherry on top of the cake is a lovely cat café (where you can order a delicious cake and pet a cute cat).

    Zwolle is my favourite town in the Netherlands, full of life, bars and nice buildings. Everything is in a walking distance. You can find lots of restaurants, pubs or just buy something in a supermarket and chill along the river. It's really worth a visit!

    Stunning town with plenty of unspoilt architecture and an amazing selection of shops, bars and restaurants. We were there on Friday with a huge street market. The cheese shops were a highlight for us.

    Zwolle is a lovely vibrant friendly town, full of great bars, restaurants and shops and undoubtedly one of the best ice cream parlours I have ever visited. There are so many great spots, so much to do and it's so chilled.

    Beautiful city.

    Beautiful city. Excellent museum of modern art, de Fundatie. Beautiful bookstore inside an old church. The best cake and chocolates in the Netherlands at Bakkerij Lindeboom. Try my three favourites: Dark chocolate filled with 5-spice, dark chocolate with cardamom filling, and the milk chocolate filled with caramel and sea salt. Try the others too. Many are prize winning chocolates.

    We were very personally received including a welcome champagne with chips. A nice touch that there is no real reception desk, but the receptionist just joined us sitting in the lounge while enjoying the champagne. When it was raining, they had umbrellas available for us. The location (a beautiful building) is about a 10min walk to the center of Zwolle and near the train station (with Starbucks and far away enough not to hear any trains).

    Friendly and efficient reception staff, clean room and a good size. Parking available, however there is a charge, even though the hotel car park was full, there was a car park opposite which was cheaper. Great location, 10 minute walk to centre along the beautiful canal. The room was clean and the bathroom a good size.
