Although it was noted online that boat tours were available this was not the case -apparently it had been a failed enterprise. The beautiful fjord town, with the turquoise blue Rauma River winding through on one side and the towering peaks on the other. It is very well connected by train to Oslo and by bus to Trollstigen and Molde airport. It is suitable as a campsite for vacations and as a hub for trips to other places.Guest review byMacGermany

The bedroom is spacious and our floor had 2 kitchens-in case there are multiple guests, there are no worries about being crowded in one. The room and living room have direct view on the lake which makes the experience even better. The owner was very nice, he showed us around and was always avaliable in case we had questions. We had a private cabin with an interesting loft thru ladder for kids. Bathroom was clean and a small kitchen too. Good base to explore Andalsnes which is only 15-20 min away and Trollstigen. Trollstiggen (Hwy 63 is closed for rest of 2024) but you can still drive 25-min to go to the base of Trollstiggen and still do small hikes to waterfalls and see hairpin road.
