Amazing location in Senja on the fyord shore. Despite arriving during a strong snowstorm, it was still amazing. We spent one night in the dome and one in the cabin. They were both amazing. The cabin was smaller, but perfect for the price, and the dome was a bit cold at first because of the storm, and then warmer thanks to the wood stove. It was incredible.

Everything about this place was great! A clean, modern, cozy place to stay offering everything a guest could wish to have a pleasant stay! It felt like home from the very beginning, it was very clean, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, watching the aurora from the terrace and spending time in the generous living room. We will gladly visit again!

Aurora Borealis Observatory is situated in Senja Island, 10 minutes from the city of Finnsnes and features ski-to-door access.

Everything !! We were lucky to be in the executive suite nbr 2 which is the best room of the hotel. We had an amazing view on the forest and the sea, and the hot tub all for ourselves as the other suite was not booked. The suite was huge, well equipped with a coffee machine, plates, cups, and glasses. Tea, coffee, and sugar at disposal. The beds were super comfy and the huge sofa was awesome to wait for the northern lights. The breakfast was delicious and very varied. I got addicted to their waffles. The receptionist was exceptional with us. He helped us with the ferry, explained how it worked, even assisted in planning a back-up itinerary in case we didn’t get it. They also arranged an early breakfast, as we had to leave at 7:30, so they opened the restaurant one hour earlier just for us. We really had an exceptional stay. We’ve read somewhere that the owners have changed and I can vouch that all the previous bad reviews that were written about that place do not reflect the reality now and the amazing experience we had. One thing to be aware of: only the executive suites have access to the hot tub, and only the suite nbr 2 has a view on the forest.

The accommodation was in a great location, overlooking the sea, close to restaurants and shops. All the instructions we received were timely and sufficient and intuitive. I recommend this place!

This central hotel is just 2 minutes’ walk from Finnsnes Lake and the Finnsnes Ferry Terminal. It offers free WiFi, a lobby bar, along with tea/coffee facilities in each room.

Cleanliness of the room on very high level. Good atitude of all the people working in the hotell. They do a good job as a hotell and they are much better than many of other hotells with big names. Great design of the rooms, very cosy and warm. Delicious breakfast made with love, and you really can taste it.

This intimate hotel is situated in Finnsnes, 2 minutes’ walk from the Ferry Terminal. It offers en-suite accommodation and an à la carte restaurant. Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free.

We are a couple and We had 2 wonderful days at the unique resort. The view around were wonderful.It was atmospheric and romantic. We were welcomed with a big smile and kindness. They upgraded us to an apartment free of charge and that was amazing and unexpected. The apartment had all the amenities. 2 toilets, 2 showers, 3 rooms on the upper floor, large functional kitchen, dining room and living room.In the morning, during check out, we were a little late to leave, but they waited for us patiently and with a smile.We want to comeback some day... Also, very important, they responded to our messages immediately!!
