The interior and exterior were both beautiful, and the property is very close to the Reinebringen hike. The villa is clearly well cared for and the host shared some great suggestions for activities and history about the house and area. Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.

Perfect spot.

Perfect spot. Very quiet as there was only a few cabins near by but still close enough to things that are going on. Views were amazing from the cabin with a decked seating at the front of the property with views of the sea and the mountains. Just beautiful. We ate at Anita’s restaurant. We also ate from a take away cabin in Flakstadoya, well worth going there. It was delicious. Sorry we didn’t have time to kayak in Reine

Beautiful town!

Beautiful town! Try to be there when there aren't tour busses full of people. During the summer and the midnight sun it's really pleasant at night. Our highlight was hiking the Reinebringen - twice! Once at night, once in the morning. We also watched for orcas, which we heard were sighted pretty often that week but we didn't see them. Highly recommend staying at the Sakrisoy Gjestegård but it's easiest to get around if you have a car.

The excellent location and spacious unit Near public transport. The buses stop just outside. They should do something about the fire alarm which goes off at slight cooking. Otherwise excellent property great views.

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need...

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need to plan carefully on how to get around on the buses, and use the Reis app. We stayed on Sakriskoy which has 2 excellent restaurants. The Underhuset run by a very welcoming Mexican proprietor who cooks marvellously, and Anita's seafood.

My two-night stay was a truly memorable experience. I booked the small rorbu Minibua, wich provided beutiful views from the kitchen window. Minibua was cozy, clean, and well-equipped for easy cooking. The bunk beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The accessible parking nearby was a convenient perk, and I found it incredibly easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, Rostad Retro Rorbuer is super charming, and I highly recommend it for a cozy getaway in Lofoten!

An authentic place where you can enjoy the true atmosphere of the Lofoten Islands. Next to the cottage, fish is drying, there are high peaks and the smell of the sea all around. Just sit on the porch and dream.. enjoying the calm place. Good starting point for hiking, coffee and bakery nearby.
