    It is less filled with tourists than Kathmandu or Thamel and seems to me more authentic. The Durbar square is amazing, as well as the small local temples and stupas. You can find delicious food everywhere, whatever you want, and people are very nice. You can get around on foot, but if you want to go to Kathmandu itself or to Bhaktapur, you can take a car via the Indrive app.

    Of the 3 medieval Durbar Squares I visited (Patan, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur), I was most impressed by Patan's. Maybe because it was so easily accessible to my lodging (I was able to walk there twice), and the smallest of the three; or very possibly due to its being my introduction to the stunning architecture of the Newar culture and the history of Hinduism & Buddhism in Nepal. I recommend a full day to see the temples and do the museum justice; a guide is definitely a plus, to get the most out of your visit.

    Exceptional Stay at Suite Homes Serviced Apartment! I had an amazing experience staying at Suite Homes Serviced Apartment! From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The apartment itself was stunning—modern, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home with all the comforts and conveniences you could ask for.The attention to detail throughout the apartment was impressive—from high-speed internet and smart TV to premium toiletries and cleaning services. Everything was spotlessly clean, and you could tell that the management takes great pride in maintaining the property. What I also loved was the central location. Suite Homes Serviced Apartment is close to shops, restaurants, and transportation, which made getting around so convenient.     I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the 1 BHK Premium Apartment! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the sleek, modern design and immaculate cleanliness of the space. The apartment was not only stylish but also incredibly cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.What really stood out was the attention to detail. High-quality furniture, smart home features, and the little touches like fresh linens and premium toiletries made my stay feel like a true getaway. The apartment was also equipped with high-speed WiFi, making it easy to stay connected if needed. The location was fantastic—central to everything I wanted to explore, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during my trip.     Loved everything about Hira Guest House. Yelos our host was incredible and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history and everything about Patan. The architecture and artworks in the building was impressive and it felt like we stepped into that time in history. The place was actually better in real life than in the photos. There was also no need for air-conditioning as the building was well insulated therefore sustainable. My husband and I will definitely be returning to Hira Guest House

    My stay at K2 Homes was amazing. The area where the hotel is quiet and beautiful and you get a good mix of insights of local life and the heritage placed of Kathmandu. Just while talking a walk in the area there is so much art and traditional as well as present culture to explore. The rooms are spacey with a great view, clean and a very helpful service from the owner. Would definitely come back!

    It was a nice apartment room. Bed was on the top floor with rooftop views typical of Patan. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, just off the main square.
