Taupo has a lot to do in and around town. I like it there and it seems like there’s a lot of family activities. A lot of runners and cyclists. Taupo is a family friendly destination with many activities available around the lake. However it can be very busy during popular season such as the Christmas break, so making a plan to visit in advance would be my recommendation.
