    A quiet, quaint city with a seemingly tight-knit community and fantastic sights. We arrived at the end of the Khareef season but did not miss out on any greenery, beautiful birds, roaming camels, and absolutely great water features such as springs, streams, and waterfalls!

    When you are living in the Middle East your goto summer destinations are mostly cooler and greener places like Europe. One trip to Salalah and you realize you dont need to go that far. It has many beautiful scenic places that take you eye to eye with the best of nature. Valleys, meadows, rivers, streams, waterfalls, clouds rains caves and caves and caves and more caves.

    Amazing lagoon landscape, with direct beach access. Beach is amazingly white, clean and you can walk in quite far - depending on the waves, only. Exceptionally beautiful "holiday town" Hawana Salalah with many different lagoons, private villas, 3 large 5-star resorts, some shops, restaurants. Approx. 15km from Salalah town / airport. So, you should rent a car straight from the airport. Great excursions going up into the mountains ... sand dunes, waterfalls (depending on the season), Hiob's graveyard, Taqah castle + fortress etc. ... nice big shopping malls in Salalah

    Salalah is a unique mix of nature, calmness, and culture. We loved driving through the lush mountains and enjoying the cool khareef weather. The waterfalls and green valleys were breathtaking. It’s easy to get around by car, and there are plenty of scenic stops. Great for couples looking for a quiet, refreshing escape. Don’t miss the local frankincense market and beach sunsets!

    This is the best location for Salalah-wide white beach out the front and lovely green gardens.Easy taxi drive to town area or for tours -a taxi stand opposite the hotel.Hotel is one of the original 5 star ones here, but very well managed and very professional polite staff.The hotel and our room are clean and very well maintained.We extended our stay here as our base in Salalah,as didn’t see a better hotel or location.

    Everything was great. People in Oman are really great. The design and the beach were awesome. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner on the pool. They have a beautiful marina with shops and activities in the evenings.
