Josefina's is a Happy place, run by members of the same extended family, so it has a Very comfortable vibe. It's 1 block above Main Street, in a really quiet and perfect location, in the center of town. We kept extending our stay we liked it so much. Go snorkeling at Siete Pecados Marine Park, it's world class, right next to town.

Very calm and peaceful atmosphere in the forest with monkeys, geckos and toucans, and a great view! Alma the hotel manager is the absolutely best, also the other staff is very warm and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

We recently stayed at Sanctuaria Threehouses, and it was unforgettable. The stunning surroundings and attention to detail brought us to tears! The staff's warmth and hospitality made us feel like home, and the incredible view and cuisine, crafted with love and local flavors, is something we are still dreaming about. Honestly, we do not just want to return - we want to live there! Special shoutout to Brian, surprisingly normal yet exuding a Jedi-like calm. And a huge shoutout and thanks to Tin-Tin, Elsie, Richard and the rest of the team - your amazing "Yoda-ness" is bringing the place to perfection. The Ocam Ocam cottage was located right next to the beach beautiful location. With access to Black island and the ability to do island hopping. The room was clean with a shared bathroom & shower provided with a mosquito protector. The facilities were great with 2 restaurants nearby the owner she was very friendly and accommodating (I had checked out a bit later) she did not charge me extra and offered for me to stay at her uncles as my pick up was-in the late afternoon. A great community & stay.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

I dont know why everyone goes to crowded Coron island while...

I dont know why everyone goes to crowded Coron island while huge wild beautiful Busuanga is near. Its very big island, better to rent a motorbike to discover it. A lot of things to do, islands, giraffes, diving, beaches.

We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by...

We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by tourism. Where we stayed at Ocam Ocam there was a rural village community living along the beach. They were friendly and helpful and there was one restobar on the beach. The beach wasn't busy - had a very relaxed feel. It would have been a drive to the nearest town but we liked being away from it all. The beach at Ocam Ocam was gorgeous, though not for swimming as it had a long shallow reef out to the sea. We didn't see a lot of Busuanga as a whole but it felt equally relaxed and rural away from big towns.
