Beautiful accomodation!!! Food was very very delicious (if youre european, they even nailed the pizzas!) Highlight was totally the staff! Everyone was so lovely and helpful (especacially the kind managerlady, she was giving awesome recommendations and made our stay unforgettable!:)) renting scooters or tricycles to the next port can be done comfortably via reception as well. This place is a must if you visit Siquijor. The room is next to the ocean, during the night you can hear the waves. One of the guys went with me in the morning for snorkeling (free snorkeling equipment!) and we directly saw 5-6 turtles swimming around. The people were so kind! This was a marvelous stay and I can really recommend to come here. They also organized me a transportation from and to the port with a super friendly driver. It’s a 10/10!

We booked Salamya at the last minute, as we were struggling to find other places closer to the center. However, despite being a little farther away, I absolutely loved everything about it. From the moment I first contacted Ms. Dianne, she graciously accommodated every query I had. She even recommended spots before we had even booked with them. I appreciated the sea view, and the unit was spotlessly clean! The decor, welcome signage, and cozy ambiance of the room all added to our wonderful stay. Thank you so much! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Salamya and would gladly return.

This place is a hiddem gem, really well located but outside of the main road and super peaceful. The staff is just wonderful, they made our stay memorable, helped us with our luggage that airline missed and they make you feel like you are part of the family. Its a brand new place with only 8 rooms and they have plenty of staff who are always smilling, calling you by your name and willing to help in any situation you need. Breakfast is very good and freshly prepared on demand with fresh fruits, cooked items and great coffee. Honestly we were more than surprised, anywhere else this place would have costed twice or 3 times more. Cant wait to go back

    San Juan, Siquijor is about a 30-45 min trip from the Port of Siquijor. At the time of this writing, a P1,500.00 tricycle tour charge rate (capacity is comfortable for two persons - but may add more people, depending on the person's size, the skill of the tricycle driver and more importantly, his (or her) approval for the total payload, as the driver has to maneuver a few steep climbs. We got ours from the Port, right after the ferry ride from Dumaguete City. The P1,500.00 charge starts the moment you agree to the rate, up to the time you tell the driver you had enough. Do not waste time finding a cheaper rate as it is standard. People of Siquijor will not cheat you so you would not be charged more even if you are tourists. Siquijor is generally a tranquil place, depends where you actually booked (far from he noise), but I think its just overrated as the beach where we were taken was filled up with seaweeds - harmless but nonetheless, irritating (we could not help compare it with the sandbar experience we had in Bais, Dumaguete - in this sense). But don't get me wrong, the beach we went to was clean. We just did not like the idea of getting seaweeds over our heads when you get off from the warm sea. For us, the overnight was good enough just to see the island and experience the people, but of course if you plan to stay longer, then you may do so - really just depends on what you like. The people are friendly and nobody forces you to buy anything or approaches you and make you feel uncomfortable. Would I go back? For sure I would - after seeing the other island paradises my Motherland has to offer of course!

    San Juan is a really nice location well located to visit the all island! Diving with turtles going to the waterfalls ! We found local small restaurant 109 food corner - the food was amazing, snorkeling in Sawang point beach to see sea turtles! The waterfalls were really nice It was for far the best island we did !
