Unfortunately the internet gave very little info on Bydgoszcz so I planned day trips out of the city when I should have stayed and toured the city more. It is spectacular and 3 or 4 days would be perfect. Great public transportation, numerous sights and activities, wonderful restaurants, active old town square…. Bydgoszcz is a beautiful city.
Bydgoszcz is a beautiful city. If you find the river, there are beautiful walks along the river, and the main areas of interest from a tourist point of view are close to the river. There is a tower that you can climb, and at the top, you get a good view of the city in all directions, and it also helps with spotting some places that might be of interest. A peaceful area, had its own free parking place in the building 's garage. The building has an elevator, which is very helpful when you have heavy luggage like we did. Supermarkets close by and easy access to the city centre. The apartment was very clean, everything was new and modern. Enough room for a group of 5, we especially liked the table as we could all fit to eat at the same time and the espresso machine that made very good coffee.
