The old town is nice to roam around. There are multiple lakes in walking distance, if you have a pet or want to cool down yourself. The town organizes a lot of events especially during the summer that can be attended by both locals and tourists (check out https://mok.olsztyn.pl). There are coffee shops open at 8 for the early birds and other venues that close at midnight for those who prefer to stay out late.
