Luquillo is very laid back so beach wear is acceptable everywhere. Very small town with perfect beaches. Limited dining options. Close proximity to El Yunque & Fajardo . Friendly town but small. Local restaurants up charge for tourists and down charge for locals so it helps to speak Spanish as well. Kiosks were not impressive. Menus were pricey compared to other kiosk pricing. Suprisingly nice blend of beach experience with the benefits of the local suburban community with the conveniences of grocery stores, gas, drug stores, etc. The local beaches are nice, Playa Luquillo and Playa Azul, have different feel, good beach experiences for north shore Atlantic Ocean side. The kioska at Luqillo Beach offer some good eats and drinks. This location is convenient by car to Fajardo, San Juan, and the Rain Forest.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 10.0
