The location was great, 5 mins from airport by taxi, 10 min walk to the closest supermarket. Small restaurant nearby. Awesome views from the balcony. The apartment was facilitated with everything you need.

The resort is the perfect place to spend your last day before heading back to the airport or for close access to Ponta da San Lorenco. The facilities are really nice. My husband and I enjoyed the restaurant, tennis court, and pools immensely. However, the hospitality we were shown was really what made this stay so incredible. I caught a cold while I was here and the front desk had tea sent to my room without us asking. They also asked me how I was feeling whenever they saw us, and really went above and beyond in every way.

We got the family room for 3 people which we thought would imply one of us sleeping on the sofa, but they had already prepared a third bed for us. The room was spacious, very clean, huge closet and nice balcony with chairs and a table to watch the ocean from. The breakfast was a nice classic selection (ham, salami, cheeses, various types of pastries, beans, eggs and lots of fruit). The pool is always clean, not as big as in the picture, but there is still plenty of room to swim around especially since most of it 2m deep (7ft). The jacuzzi was a nice addition for colder evenings. The staff are very kind and willing to adapt to your needs or requests. The hotel offers the possibility to rent a car without deposit (which was a huge deal for us since deposits were in the range of 2000 euros) by paying 10 euro more each day you rent for full insurance. They also bring the car to the hotel for you.

Fantastic hotel. Yes the location and setting is beautiful. Yes the food, drinks, service is amazing. But the team genuinely add the 5* quality. From the security, to porters, to reception, to bar, waiters, managers, everyone was so so pleasant, welcoming and literally could not do enough for you. Awesome! Very beautiful and cozy place to stay. Calm, very clean, beautiful garden. The service was also great - Berta and Maria are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was awesome. We absolutely recommend the Villa Camélia.

Excellent in everything (except location due to weather conditions in January) Clean, elegant, homely atmosphere with polite, helpful staff. Rooms are of a good size, with fridge, safe and tea making facilities. Comfortable bed, heated pool, and excellent, rich breakfast. I would choose this hotel again any time.
