This exceptional accommodation was built in the 17th century and retains so many of the original features. it is right on the Camino. The staff were friendly and helpful and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful.

Extremely clean, neat and comfortable. Host is super friendly and very hardworking. She let me in earlier and I appreciated it very much, because it was raining. Everything is set out clearly and the rules are very clear and easy to follow.

The thoughtfulness in every detail regarding the needs of walking guests, having everything available without suggesting any local minimarkets - or restaurants “far” away (after walking 20+ km everything extra is far :) ). The offer of a perfect common meal topped it all. The absolutely best reception we have had on the camino after our first week - with one week to go.

Location is superb with breathtaking views and very quiet. Some of the food from breakfast is homemade (cakes and jam). Some of the fruit is also from their trees. We were impressed by the amazing art of José Rodrigues, the room was very cozy and has a nice design

    There is the only cafe in the area with some drinks , ice cream etc. You can take some of the walking trails from there. Unfortunately there are no maps of the area available. The roads, even so high in the mountains, are of a good quality.
