Dear Ann and Steen, What a wonderful couple are you Guys! The best hosts we ever had. The name of Bed and Breakfast is really what it should be, a warm home where you feel welcome from the start. Never felt as “at home” as we were with you. Will definitely recommend your stay to all our friends. Thank you very much for all the tips and tricks you gave us to discover the neighbourhood and also thanks to Steen for his incredible wine tour as well! Beautiful place if you are traveling in north Portugal and the huge plus is the 3 minutes walk from the hotel to the adventure park. Hotel is lovely with an amazing outdoor pool, great service, option for a chef dinner that we enjoyed. we took the suite room and the only issue with that is the bed, which was too soft for us and not really comfortable. Area is so green and great for hiking.

A wonderful family run hotel in a gorgeous area. The father and son owners were very helpful, and we loved their recommendations for a hike (the Pont Misarela) and dinner (Hostel do Geres). They stoked a fire in the communal area in the evening, and it was a very comfortable place to have a drink and relax. We would love to return!

Staff friendly and helpful, the hotel facilities were excellent, breakfast wonderful. I had difficulty finding Venda Nova because I did not have the coordinates and there are about 14 villages of that name. Eventually got there very late and much relieved that the owners mother was keeping watch for us to show us to our rooms.

Everything! This is a new location in Peneda-Gerês Narional Park, with charming renovated farmhouses around a spacious open courtyard overlooking the mountains. So peaceful and relaxing, yet accessible and very well located, with many hiking options around the area, and some right around the village, within a short walk from the property. The apartment was very well organized and equipped, with a spacious kitchen and dining area, a living room, and two separate bedrooms on the upper floor. Everything was super clean and well handled, and the hosts were highly attentive. Sandra was amazing, always available and completely mindful to our comfort (and came over every morning with a pile of fresh pastries!). Thanks guys for a wonderful stay!
