    Estombar is a small town which does not really offer much.

    Estombar is a small town which does not really offer much. It's OK if you plan to sleep only. There are two decent restaurants, one small store with some fresh fruit and basic items. Roads are narrow and without sidewalk. Parking is not easy.

    Estombar is very centric in the Algarve regions.

    Estombar is very centric in the Algarve regions. We were able to stay there and visit neighboring towns. Found great restaurants and friendly service. Restaurante Onda in Lagoa was great. Amazing food and service. Same area had other tapas type restaurants. Benagil is a most if you are in the area. Surfing was packed in the neighboring towns, sow we ended up about 45 min west in Capateira and it was the best.

    It is beautiful and the weather is grand.

    It is beautiful and the weather is grand. It was easy to get around in the rental car. Easy access to more than one beach. Carvoeiro is a great town with all amenities and the fabulous beach. Enjoy the beach activities. Close to excellent golf courses.
