The property is beautifully refurbished and the swimming pool and gardens are wonderfully serene. The owners are so helpful and welcoming, we have no reservation recommending the hotel.

The location is perfect, surrounded by hills and with a view to the river. It offers the perfect nature getaway with comfort. The spa has two swimming pools, one adults only. The room was spotless and the cleaning team, restaurant staff and receptionists were exceptional. The breakfast was also very good from fresh fruits and bread, to good Portuguese cheese, and some homemade cakes and cookies. Also English breakfast available. The exterior playground was maintained and had a sand box. My only suggestion would be a room for children to play.

I liked the installations in general. Big room with a lot of commodities and coffee machine as a courtesy. The staff was super friendly. The pool/spa area was good with the sauna and Turkish bath.

We stayed in the one-bedroom chalet and absolutely loved it! The upstairs bedroom with the huge picture windows was so fantastic. We had rainy, chilly weather, so didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating and table, but it is really beautifully set up, inside and out. You can walk along the stream to get to a medieval bridge and, judging by the rope swing, it looked like you could swim in the stream in the summer. It's also a nice private location, at the end of the road with the three rental units well spaced out from one another. There's lots of nice sight-seeing and hiking to do in the area. We will definitely go back if we make another trip to Portugal.

I recently had the pleasure of renting a property and I must say, the process was seamless from start to finish. Collecting the property keys on arrival was an absolute breeze!     The villa was in a nice location for me. All the amenities are available to make your stay comfortable and safe. The Host is exceptional and to hand if needed. Gandarela is nearby for your supplies. If you like nature, quiteness to relax and unwind and see No one, this is for you. I will be back. 5 * + 5 * ( If you need bars, cafe's, people around, bright lights and noise. Well you can get my meaning, J,O.
