The owner, Laura, is an amazing host that takes the time to make the guests feeling welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast , prepared by Laura, it’s amazing ! The rooms are well decorated and clean! The terraces are very good to rest and the little pool a must to enjoy it on hot summer days! We will come back again!

The view was amazing over the river. The staff was very friendly and informed me about the museum in the hotel next to eat also the facilities. There is a little restaurant where you can have some traditional Portuguese food, craft beer and good wine.

Everything about the place was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable and the view was amazing. We would definitely stay here again. There was even a refrigerator, kettle, and microwave that we could use.

Lovely place, lovely owners. The food in the restaurant is amazing and the local white wine is a must! We had a lovely spread waiting for us when we arrived after midnight (late flight, enormous queues at Sixt). Thank you for your hospitality and your care! Mértola itself is a little gem! It’s like that old Portugal from books and films — certainly worth exploring!
