    We only visited Montalegre for a short period, but found...

    We only visited Montalegre for a short period, but found time to walk around the town and castle which offered terrific panoramic views. We would certainly visit this town again and perhaps stay over for a couple of days the next time that we are in the region.

    This is a wonderful hotel on the side of the lake. The rooms were delightful, and we had a great view of the lake at sunset from our balcony. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast and would highly recommend.
