Excellent B&B. Superb individually Cooked Breakfast . No tepid communal layout here. The owner Nuno was both Professional and a Charming fella. Adelia was likewise. The Rooms were extremely clean and presentable. The location was perfect. I will most definitely be returning and will be certainly recommending to family and friends.

The Cottage is a very quaint, cosy, tastefully decorated place to stay. It had everything in it we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owner is a lovely lady who met us with a warm welcome. The breakfast was a lovely touch with jams made by herself from her home grown fruits and she also cooked us free range eggs! We only stayed one night but should have stayed longer. We enjoyed our visit :)

It would be impossible to find a nicer couple running a B&B! Our trip was short, but the highlight was actually the time we spent in the B&B, Peter and Lineke are the warmest most thoughtful and respectful hosts imaginable, and the ambience of the property, the gardens, the views, it just has to be seen to be believed! The house is amazing we had great weekend very old but renovated house love the stone walls. Very quiet in village with great views. Nice barbecue with sun set in evening we enjoyed eating out. Sra Maria is very welcome lady that received us with very happy smile and very friendly. Talk to owner was easy. Cannot wait to come back in December as already booked for 8 nights.

Absolutely stunning property that has been sympathetically restored whilst adding a modern twist in places. The rooms are scrupulously clean, well equipped & finished to the highest standards. The breakfast selection used home grown & locally sourced produce & was plentiful & varied. Hosts were exceptional!!! Very personalised service & welcomed as a guest in their home Cannot recommend the hotel highly enough

An excellent place to stay on a cycle tour, especially one following the N2 which runs close by. The hotel is on top of a hill (so the final 1km is rather steep!) with superb views over the reservoir and valley below. Bike storage was absolutely no problem: we were invited to leave them in reception, though a locked room was also available if we had wanted it. Great pool!

Good location, for us anyway. Room 7 was huge and more than adequately appointed. This was a quick, on the day, booking and everything went as smooth as I could have wished. Be aware there is no restaurant (or bar as such) but drinks and snacks can be ordered throughout the day. Exceptionally clean in the hotel and very quiet at night.

Large, light and clean room. Comfortable bed and very well presented. The breakfast was excellent and very generous. The host speaks perfect English and I enjoyed chatting with him about Portuguese culture and finding out more about the country. The best value hotel of my trip.
