Great city, so much to see and enjoy.

Great city, so much to see and enjoy. The historical area, port houses, small cafes and restaurants just outside the tourist district are a must. If you have time I would recommend a Douro River Trip, rather than the 6 bridges trip that is disappointing.

Porto is a beautiful city, with lots of interesting buildings and landmarks to see. The area along the old town and river is bustling with tourists and great to visit. Porto is very proud of it's many bridges, which was mentioned many times on the tours we went on. I would highly recommend Porto to anyone who hasn't been and will definitely be visiting it again.

    Lots to see and do.

Lots to see and do. Great shops, food markets, history, restaurants, churches, the river, cable cars, the Port! Easy to explore on foot, although some hilly areas. We had spent 2 nights in Vigo, northern Spain, then 2 nights in Porto...not enough time in Porto! Will definitely return, as so much to do!

Porto was lovely to visit, lots of little shops for gifts.

Porto was lovely to visit, lots of little shops for gifts. There are so many restaurants to chose from and the fish dishes are delicious. We enjoyed the boat ride through the 6 bridges. There is a tram ride to enjoy. Check out Imperial Mcdonald's and the train station for the tiles. The Crystal Palace park is worth a visit, with it's peacocks, ducks and chickens, a lovely place for a picnic. Lots of museums, and not forgetting Porto wine tours. The beaches were a bus ride away for a fixed price of 2.50, the ones we went to were a little rocky and full of character. You could be more adventurous and hire electric bikes for the day, you'll get to the beaches in no time.

This is our second time in Porto and we could have spent more time there. It is a city that takes time to explore, especially if you want to go beyond the traditional tourist sites. Highlights of our trip were visiting the Bolhao Market, Stock Exchange, and port tasting in Gaia.

The apartments are perfectly located in a central, but quiet area. walking distance from metro and bus stations. This is the best place we stayed at during our trip to Portugal

Breakfast was excellent, room was adequate, a/c did not work at first, but eventually the staff got it working. Very pleasant staff. The only complaint is that this hotel, as well as pretty much all others in Portugal are Way Overpriced for what they are. I suspect that this bubble will soon burst.

Great location (within walking distance to the main sights), dry (I'd say that's a major criterion in Portugal) & spacious place, hotel type linen
