The hosts was incredibly available and kind. She gave us all the infromation necessary to reach the house easly. The house is perfectly arranged with all the necessary facilities and is in a beautiful position with view to the Ocean. I suggest everyone to stay at Casa Ponte

A quite large apartment on the hills of Ponta do Sol for 2 persons. A very well equipped and totally new kitchen with everything you need to cook, boil or whatever you need to do to eat :-) Fresh local fruits waited us almost every day, espesially the bananas were good. One shop is at 1km distance, a larger one is 4km away, but you can reach every corner of the island in a short time - by car of course. And it is in a kind of hidden place, so in the evening and night was silence, no car and traffic noise at all. Good hikings, good sleeps - it was a good vacation.

We liked literally everything ! The hotel has a variety facilities including an infinity pool, indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath, lots of outdoor lounge seatings. It offers complementary daily shuttle to Funchal and transfers to nearby levada walks. Breakfast was super delicious with many options! Best of all, the people are just amazingly friendly and kind! They went above and beyond to help us! One day we had to miss breakfast for a sunrise hike, the kitchen staff packed us sandwiches, water, fruit juices etc. Do yourself a favor and book a room in this hotel :) I hope we will be back soon!

Everything, the accommodation is of high quality comfort with the best views of Calheta - but above and beyond has to be the quality of the kitchen, it’s chefs and food, unbelievably delicious and value for money. Definitely book breakfast and at least have one dinner, you’ll likely have dinner every evening.

We were four sisters who stayed at 1905 Zino's palace. The hotel is extremely pleasant, the staff are excellent and we were really well taken care of. We can absolutely recommend a stay as all the staff did their best to make our stay the best it could be. A thousand thanks for us and a warm greeting to all of you.
