We didn't really visit Valbom, we stayed here as we were visiting Porto but wanted a hotel with a pool. I would recommend staying here as the hotel is stunning, clean and the staff are so lovely! If you're wanting to experience Porto, it's about a 40 min walk or an Uber ride to the centre. There's not really any public transport but the Ubers are cheap enough! Valbom/Gramido is about a 55 minute walk from Campanha...
Valbom/Gramido is about a 55 minute walk from Campanha station and another 25 minutes from the centre. Some of that walk is along the Riverside but parts are uphill. There are buses but no Metro.
