Interesting city, like any metropolis not for the faint-hearted, but full of hidden surprises, brilliant history and art museums, centrally placed monastery, lovely bookshop with top floor cafe, Old Town vibe and quite well placed for day trips to Transylvania hills and forests, Bram (Dracula) Castle and Therme Spa, one of finest mega spa swimming, fun and treatment centres in Europe. Lovely little cafe by Art Museum complex - Boutique du Pain - serving fresh power salads and good coffee. Our visit was primarily to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we had 2 or 3 activities pre-planned so sightseeing was limited. However, what we saw of the city was lovely. Like any city, it has its less salubrious areas, but there is some great architecture and lovely gardens to see. Ubers are plentiful and cheap if you don't want to walk, but traffic is generally very heavy!
