A very nice place to stay in the mountains. Extremely close by car to Lake Balea (about 15-20 min drive) and the highest part of Transfagarasan. Fresh air, comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere. We LOVED our stay here! It's so peaceful, surrounded by nature, the cottage is so clean and homely! The owners are soooo friendly and accommodating. I wish I could've stayed longer. We also got to try the sauna which was lovely after a day of walking around the mountains and lakes nearby. The location is also excellent if you're planning on seeing the bears, it's about a 20-30 min drive away.
