Venus Resort is located between Saturn and Cape Aurora, at a height ranging from 3 to 20 meters above sea level. Located at a distance of 3 km, north of Mangalia, the resort was built between 1969-1971 and entered the tourist circuit in 1972. In Venus, accommodation is provided in hotels -many of them with girls' names-, in villas, pensions and camping. The accommodation capacity of the resort is 3,963 places. The length of the beach in the resort is about 1.2 km and is fragmented by dams that form 4 small bays. The beach between Saturn and Venus resorts has a length of 2 km and a width of about 200 m. In the middle of the resort is Lake Venus, and to the west is the Mangalia Stud Farm, where you can practice horseback riding. The room size was big enough for two quite large people, the balcony was great for drying towels from the beach and the swimwear, bonus: views of green, lush trees. Even if the balcony was facing the street, it was quiet most of the times and relaxing. The AC made the stay bearable, since it was very hot in august.
