When we got there, we were disappointed that both restaurants on site were being “renovated” so we had no way of ordering food since the property is basically in the middle of know where. The hotel manager was very helpful and offered us an extra 12 hour stay at no cost for the inconvenience. None the less it was unpleasant for our family because of the whole food situation especially when travelling with children. Please advise guests via email or phone if your facilities are unavailable to avoid surprises at checkin. Had electricity issues in our room. We just spent 2 nights at the Golden Tulip Dana Bay Resort . This is our first visit and will be back again. There is nothing that you will not like about this place and there are no negatives to write about anything, so I would re-iterate the positives. The hotel staff were well organized in section of housekeeping, room service, laundry, reception, restaurants and other sections. All numbers were provided on the display of landline. The life guards were active on the swimming pool as well as the beaches. The water sports service provider was also available during the course of the activities.
