    Lovely beaches. Great food. Car hire is worthwhile. Easy to drive around the island. You can just park up and wander down to the most exquisite beaches. Takamaka rum distillery was worth a visit. Also we hired a boat and did some fishing and snorkelling. Be aware of the sun. It's easy to get burnt

    Anse Royale is a beach that can be divided into attractive and less attractive parts. I have seen more beautiful beaches, but in Seychelles there is a lot of competition among beaches, so Anse Royale has a difficult task 😊. It is, at least in part, one of the most beautiful beaches I have visited on Mahe.

    We found this to be our perfect area!

    We found this to be our perfect area! Not far from the airport and capital Victoria, you have all the needed amenities nearby and of course, the beach is superb! Why that beach? Well, the water is always clear and calm, even during higher winds since the big waves don’t reach it and it’s not that much affected from the low/high tides. Good snorkling options everywhere.

    We were visiting for a conference and stayed for 2 nights.

    We were visiting for a conference and stayed for 2 nights. Everybody was extremely kind, room was large and well equipped and clean, our stay was really pleasant. Only problem, until today I got no receipt for the bill I paid there when leaving - it was promised by email, and despite several attempts I did not get it yet. Not good for professional travelers.

    It was a peaceful place, few shops including small supermarkets to get most things, there was a few restaurants including a good pizza take away. We also visited the Takamaka rum distillery which was very interesting and free admition.

    Anse Royal by the sea shore is a bad place to stay!

    Anse Royal by the sea shore is a bad place to stay! A noisy road goes along the shore and you find yourself just above it, which makes you awakened at 6 am. It is more comfortable to go more into the hills: ok, you would spend 5-20 min driving to reach you beloved beach, but you would sleep in silence, enjoy a swimming pool at the end of the day, and hear birds in the morning.

    What I liked most was the pool, the chalet's location, its View of the beach, its closeness to the Fairly Land beach, and the Spice Graden, a five-minute's walk from the property. and the room's facilities. I recommended for Family Vacation. Lise the property owner is so kind and supportive. She helped us with all our visits to Seychelles. tourist destinations. She made a special dinner with delicious food for our anniversary.

    It was very nice, very clean and nice hotel right next to the beach, we could literally see the beach and a fantastic view with sea and palm trees. There were also stores and other convenient things nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful( the guy from Sri Lanka helped me crack a coconut and he prepared it for me to eat). Overall fantastic definitely absolutely recommend it!

    I liked the calm atmosphere and the amazing view. Staff was nice and always helping, and everything was in slow motion (in a good way). Even tho it was a hotell it felt like we had a private villa at some times. The closest beach was also the best in miles. I can highly recommend this hotel. And by the way: It's much bether in real than in the photos!
