A quiet town with good shops and lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The station is walkable into town and a very good public transport to get around. The beach is walkable but allow 20mins through the woods. There are buses to the beach and harbour. During summer there is a water taxi to the beach. The river runs through the town and canoes can be hired. For knitters there is a wool shop and a hand dyer who opens on Wednesdays. Try Forsov a village nearby you can reach by bus.Go to Ellis for lunch 140sk for a fixed self service lunch, excellent food. Vebystrand is the next beach along the coast it has a fresh water outdoor swimming pool near the beach. If you like pottery try Hoganas.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A perfect spot to pause and relax.
A perfect spot to pause and relax. We spent 3 days in town over Midsommar and it was gorgeous. The beaches are great, we enjoyed the hiking trails around town and there were a few good grocery stores to stock up for cooking in the accommodation. The town has a relaxing vibe and we would definitely consider coming back! Easy to reach on a train from Copenhagen or Göteborg airport.Guest review byKatarzynaPoland
