Our stay was fantastic albeit we were a bit unlucky with the weather. The super house we stayed in and especilly the very open, friendly, helpful hosts made our stay just perfect. the magical location and surroundings did the rest for us. By way of doing things with the family, there is almost nothing that cannot be done/experienced. there is animals, football pitches conicidentally nearby, moose wandering about (well, not quite - but hey we spotted one), the lake is in stumbling distance and very inviting (if only we had 5 degrees more), several playgrounds in walking distance, canoes, rowing boats, kayaks, bicyles, toys, stuff to play and -- as aforementioned - just genuinely friendly "hostpeople".

We had a really nice, relaxing time at Brogård. The house was superb!! Loved being surrounded by nature and the lakes close by. The host was so kind and showed us around the area. Will definitely stay there again!!!

Bart is a friendly guy who takes great care of his place. Everything was clean and in order. The compost toilet might not be for everyone but was no problem using (and Bart's loft is a place in the countryside - if people need city comfort, a cabin in the wood is probably the wrong place anyway). The oven works well and fire wood is included in the price.

Easy to find, easy to access, a great host on arrival who made me feel so welcome and went out their way to help with my early check out and breakfast. Great facilities. We read poor reports on-line so were anxious that we had made a mistake booking. However everything we experienced was exceptional - the room, bathroom, breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. A gem of a location right on the lake in a National Forest. We hadn’t booked dinner so can’t comment on that, but food for breakfast was excellent. We would definitely return and recommend to friends.
