Everything about this place met my expectations! There is plenty parking in the resort so no need to worry where to leave your car during the stay. Train station to Štrbske Pleso is nearby so we almost didn't need to move the car at all. We were very warmly welcomed with glasses of prosecco :) The rooms were very clean and spacious, towels, bathrobes and toiletries were provided. Spa area is clean and we enjoyed using it (pool, kids pool, jacuzzi, 3 saunas, relax area), also massages are available. We had breakfast and dinner included and there were plenty options to choose from for both, especially the dinner was diverse so no fear from getting bored and eating the same every day. I would especially compliment the staff, everyone is very friendly, accommodating, kind and helpful.

It is a very cozy hotel. The rooms are clean and have a balcony, the beds are also very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spa in the hotel is nice, there are different saunas, a jacuzzi etc. The massages are also recommended. We had booked half board, the breakfast buffet is complete and the dinners are creative and delicious (course menu). The hotel is well located, you can walk to the village center in 15 minutes.For those who want to go skiing, there is also a bus from the hotel that takes you to the ski lift.

This was undoubtedly the best stay we've ever had (and we travel a lot). Beautiful hotel with fairytale atmosphere, clean, nice and comfy rooms. The staff here is excellent and professional, they met all our (well my, as I have food allergies) needs when dining and for breakfasts. Spa was exceptional and a great massage helped me to recharge and de-stress. I cannot wait to return here. Thank you very much! :)

Beautiful location, excellent starting points for breathtaking hikes. The wellness is just great after the all-day physical activity. Very good breakfast. We even got a surprise Gopass card with a free return cable car ride and free entrance to a waterpark. Also the history of the hotel added to the atmosphere :)

Excellent apartment for a family! A lovely view from the window of the treetops and small lake. A center of restaurants and an exit to hiking trails nearby in a short walk, and also near a train station for those who need it. 5 min walk to Štrbské Pleso. We were with a car and we got underground parking, it helped us a lot on the rainy days. Excellent equipped kitchen, you can really cook. There is everything you need: a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a kettle, a stove and a microwave, every day they make sure to empty the bins. A luxurious and spacious bathroom, excellent water flow. It was warm and pleasant, a good and quiet atmosphere. Thanks!

    Važec is a little town.

    Važec is a little town. Not too rich, but quiet and calm and 20 km far from the Tatra (Skalante Pleso). Walking there was worth to do, because it was nice to see the creek that crosses the town, the small center, the tiny lake next to the cave and by the way there is a cave here that is worth to visit. :) The Važecká Cave is one of the most known caves in the northern Slovakia. Though by length it belongs among the short show caves, it is known by occurrence of rich dripstone decoration, remarkable findings of cave bear bones, as well as by rare cave fauna.
