Central location. Easy to find. Was able to do late check in. Thanks . Tasty breakfast with good coffee. New lodge so everything was new. Very friendly, funny people working at the lodge.

Poco Loco is an amazing place run by an amazing lady, Fatou. It's a little bit of paradise in Abene. It's set right on the beach, just far enough from the village to enjoy the quiet and close enough to access on foot. The rooms are very well furnished with a really comfy mattress and pillows, best sleep I've had in a while! Also AC, tv, mini fridge and a spacious bathroom. Fatou and team are really professional and very obliging, they check in daily to ensure you have everything you want. I liked that I could have breakfast every morning on the beach and dinner at my veranda in the evenings. And the food, oh my, is copious and sooo delicious. The fish, lotte, was wonderfully seasoned and cooked, I had it everyday! Fatou is a lovely and honest woman. I am already looking forward to returning. See you very soon Fatou, thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

It is a very nice place. In a very quiet location in the forest. Plenty of vegetation. We very much liked the staff and they became our friends: Petit Joe, Babu and others. A very peaceful & quite location a short walk less than 400m to lovely quiet beach . Abene village is a 15 min walk via either beach or bush tracks . Our Hosts did everything to make you feel at home in the sprit of Senegalese culture in Wolof language "Teraanga" translates as " hospitality”, “consideration”. The rooms were comfortable, clean & well furnished. The gardens and the buildings are very well maintained. The meals were lovely and hospitality was exceptional at all meal times. Highly recommended for an relaxation escape holiday. A day time sleep in the hammock in the garden is a must do !! I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Simple, beautiful, nice hosts, really close to the beach (less than 1minute walking), close to restaurants, mini groceries shop (less than 10min). A wonderful place to stay either if you are traveling by yourself or with family (we've traveled with our 3year old boy). We had a great experience there and will be back as soon as possible!

I arrived in the pouring rain. Nathalie and her gardiner, Julien, met me at the entrance. Nathalie held a huge umbrella for me while Julien took care of all of my baggage. The room is pristine with picture windows overlooking a fecund garden with a large baobab tree just to the right. The bed and pillows are comfy with nice accents. There is a hot shower which was a welcomed relief from the long trip from Dakar. The area is very quiet, except for the chirping of birds that are also lovely to see. This property is a great value and the host is extremely hospitable, helpful with local information, very warm and kind. I highly recommend this place.

Bamba and his crew have managed to create a piece of paradise on earth. Not only the place is really beautiful, with plenty of trees, vegetation and birds, very well and carefully conserved; and the bungalows comfortable, clean and spacious; and the food extremely good...not only that. The magic of this place resides in the human atmosphere that they have created, something not easy to find elsewhere. Very important to note: they organize intensive music and dancing camps, aside of amazing (and affordable) visits to local villages, mangrooves, etc...just ask them! If you manage to make it here, you are a lucky traveller.
