Really lovely small resort with great pool, views of the ocean and really sweet, kind staff. Small bar serving drinks which was open until 10pm. The bungalow was stylishly decorated and well equipped.

Awesome pool area, good location near the beach and close to the more swimming friendly part, plus surf break nearby. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were cosy, and bathroom is good condition. Great aircon too.

So, its the second time I have stayed during January in consecutive years.. Staff are so friendly and helpful, place is clean, location is great right on the beach, amazing sunsets, great food, bitcoin accepted, hopefully back again next year.

Lovely atmosphere for relaxing and watching the surfers. We really appreciated the pool as the beach is not suitable for swimming. However, It’s a great beach for experienced surfers. We were there during a period of high tides so there was limited beach walking, and the beach isn’t really that long to be able to walk very far anyway. The hotel has a restaurant, and we enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. There are also plenty of other restaurants nearby. We did the Spanish lessons at the Say Zonte Spanish School, which is conveniently located right at the hotel. Good service from all the staff! Good Uber service in this area to get to other locations if you don’t want to take the bus.

    Nice area. Definitely go eat at Betos. If you want to be at the beach everyday El Zonte may not be the place to stay. The beach was very rocky with not much sand. El Zonte was pretty central to other tourist attractions like Nawi, Hot Springs, Taminique Falls, Tunco, etc.

    El Zonte is a very chill and relaxed place which made it nice for us to end our trip there. We walked wherever we needed to go. This is not the place for night life, but the place to unwind. I could have stayed here longer for sure. Everyone we encountered was really nice.

    A vibrant small town but very much focused on surfers.

    A vibrant small town but very much focused on surfers. Those who do not take part in surfing should also visit because there are plenty of things to do besides surfing. The beach is perfect but be warned there is limited space for swimming and you need to be careful because there are rocks at a number of locations that you must avoid. When the tide is out you can see the rocks. Walking along the beach and around the El Zonte area is easy and enjoyable so for several days I totally recommend a visit to El Zonte.

    El Zonte is a real nice place to go, the little restaurant they have on the side of the road can surprise you in a good way, the food is so cheap and good. Like a little stand I stop and my surprise that they had pancakes and crepes with Nutella. But even the traditional breakfast is so good and only cost from $2.50 to $4

    Great for surfing and if you're looking for a quiet place to hang out with a few good restaurants If you don't surf and are a swimmer it might not be the best place to be. The beaches are too rocky and not really equipped for lying in the sun and swimming.
