    I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

    I don't drive, so I walked around a lot this area.

    I don't drive, so I walked around a lot this area. I really enjoyed Wat Khao Tham and Apichada view point where I can visit by walk. There are lots of tasty local food with reasonable price. Especially I liked MAMA local restaurant. Also, I liked carrot cake from Croissant & Ko. They have lots of cakes and pastry it was difficult to chose!!! You can see the sunset from the beach.

    This side of the island is considered the most alive as it is close to the pier and there are a lot of bars, street markets and super markets. I would recommend it as a convenient option for accomodation.

    The hotel was great and the staff were nice. The pool and facilities are good with direct access onto the beach. There area few local shops but there is not a lot else about. We stayed to go to the full moon party but did not realise that its about 25minute drive away in a Tuk Tuk. Its not a problem as they have transport onsite to take you about. Its quite and calm there the sea and beach are really nice, great place to chill out and walk along the beach

    - Location is very convenient, close to many restaurants, mid-distance between main pier and the famous haad rin beach. Assuming, of course, that you have rent a (motor) bike. - Hotel is very clean and has a very well maintained garden, this is a VERY pretty place. - View on the sea with coconut trees around is heavenly, especially from a beach-sided bungalow. - Hotel's restaurant is good and prices are correct.

    We had beach access bungalows and believe me when I tell you that this was the most incredible hotel I think I’ve ever stayed at. The food at the restaurant was incredible. The english breakfast was bang on - and they even had HP sauce. The view when you wake up and open your curtains is breathtaking. Would 10/10 recommend! Pay the extra and get beach access bungalows!!!

    Amazing staff - Aimee and Sejdo were so friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. Family atmosphere and some great games of pool! Hotel is near some lovely restaurants and very easy to hire a bike to explore the island The view from the hostel is amazing and you are right on the beachfront to relax
