I can't say enough good things about this place! The beach is beautiful and peaceful, I stayed in the house and it was massive, very clean, comfortable and had everything you need to make your stay homey, including two friendly dogs (brownie and pumba) who were my instant best friends/roommates. It also had a large private seating/sunbathing area leading right onto the beach, great value for the price overall. The food at the restaurant was really well done, healthy and good quality, it had a lot of the western foods I've been missing on my travels. The icing on the cake is definitely everyone who works there, the restaurant manager even gave me free lifts when I wanted to explore the island to make sure I got there safe and wasn't overcharged. You'll never be thirsty or bored sitting at the bar and chatting to Jay either. I would definitely come back here!

Small and cosy resort near many attractions yet hidden away form the noise and tourism overload which seems unavoidable on the island unless you stay in remote location. The private small beach was our favorite beach on the island. Clean, beautiful, empty and great for snorkeling. Even during low tide the water is close enough for a swim but you need footwear to walk through the corals. There's a swing and sand mixed with tiny pieces of coral. The staff was absolutely amazing, receptionist speaks perfect English. We stayed in the garden view bungalows, which had bathroom, AC, mini fridge and large comfy bed. It was basic but enough for a good sleep. Everyday we received 2 bottles of water and were offered room cleaning service. The location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants and big beaches, however we mainly had food in their restaurant which offers variety of delicious, freshly cooked food and beverages, especially the pressed juices. There's big enough clean pool, motor bike rental and the resort offers good price taxi. It's about 20min drive from the pier. Overall great value for money and lovely atmosphere. Thank you all for making our stay so nice and easy ❤️❤️❤️

    We have been to Thailand several times but we were looking...

    We have been to Thailand several times but we were looking for something different this time, something more peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle. Haad Son was absolutely perfect. We stayed in Secret Beach Bungalows which is right on the beach, and within walking distance of a few awesome restaurants like Koh Raham, Wasabi, The Wave Sunset restaurant and the resorts own restaurant. We did rent a scooter and drove around the island from here, which I also reccommend.
