It was beautiful and modern hostel/hotel. The breakfast/brunch was so good! Try the pesto toast, and the pad Thai, and the Italian Sodas. The family that runs it are wonderful people who shows us great hospitality and friendship. They made it very easy to book excursions and know the right places to go. Definitely went the extra mile for us❤️ also so close to the beach and great restaurants/bars.

could not have enjoyed a property more. felt more like 5-star quality from the best staff of ANY hotel in Thailand to the food and design. the beach is quiet and nice. it’s super close to everything just rent a scooter (the property will arrange in 15 minutes) btw, I am a luxury hotel consultant and worked and stayed in 5-star hotels in Asia for 12+ years. trust me, this hotel is the best value and most relaxing stay in the Thai islands

    Visited in low season weather wasn’t great but that is to be expected. Beaches not good for swimming and littered with rubbish. The vast majority of restaurants and resorts were closed. This island has a very different vibe in the busy season.

    During off season (July) the Island is reasonably quiet, many places are actually closed. Still, we had a great time. We had picked the right accommodation and were lucky with the weather, Still, it was often very windy with one powerful storm, which made the beaches useless: high bumper waves with rocks under the surf. Luckily, we had a great pool at our place. Things to do: Great local food everywhere and very affordable. Mangrove and island cave kayaking Elephant sanctuary (go for the 2hrs option if you can afford it) Old Town (great few form the pier and lots of tourist shops) National Park (jungle walk, lighthouse, beach) Many beaches to explore Scooter hires everywhere

    Koh Lanta is a nice island, I went at the end of the season so not too many people. I think in peak season it might be uncomfortable with the number of tourists. The beaches on the west coast were amazing, we didn't go to any on the east coast, not enough time. Lots of restaurants and night markets. Great to walk along the beach and try different restaurants to eat lunch or dinner. The ethical elephant sanctuary on the south of Koh Lanta was an eye opening experience and changed my views. Lots of walks and waterfalls to see.

    Koh Lanta is such an amazing island!

    Koh Lanta is such an amazing island! You definitely need to visit it if you want a relaxing holiday, without much partying and nightlife. The scenery is amazing, the island is very tropical and covered in green. Renting a motorbike and riding through the island is a must. You need at least 5 days to see the island, make a day trip to surrounding islands and relax. The beaches are great for watching the sunset and chilling, but the water isn't the best. It is very warm and not very clear when we visited at the end of April.

    It's a beautiful quiet island.

    It's a beautiful quiet island. It's far more peaceful than the other party like islands. You'll find mostly locals, digital nomads and families/honeymooners. So if you wish for a more eventful stay, this is probably not for you, but if you yearn for peace and tranquility, then Koh Lanta is a safe bet. The beaches are smaller and not that typical green/blue hue you'd find in other places, but further south you'll find nice beaches where you can chill and get a massage for 10€. You can do tours to visit some islands that are close by (40 minutes by boat) and those will have beautiful green/blue water with white sandy beaches. I highly recommend it

    Beautiful long be beach.

    Beautiful long be beach. Plentiful bars and restaurants to choose from and very reasonably priced. Take advantage of “Happy Hour” We visited the Lanta animal welfare. Cost very little and an hour tour and seeing and hearing the wonderful work they do. We also did Koh Phi Phi/Bamboo Beach etc.. 2 snorkel spots along the way. Our daughter did a more advanced snorkelling day.

    We had a lovely time staying here, we even extended our stay by one night! The staff are really lovely and had incredible massages right by the beach! It has the best swimming pool we’ve come across, nice and deep and looks so tropical! We actually preferred swimming in the pool then the beach the hotel sits on. It’s really lovely having the hotel right on the beach, however if you enjoy swimming in the sea I recommend going to long beach further down the road as it’s much more enjoyable.

Here you'll get peace and get in contact with nature as you will be staying in a nice bungalow listening to birds singing and wind flowing through leaves! Pros: - nice amaca in front of the bungalow where to relax - close to long beach and lots of restaurants/services - contact with nature - you get a mosquito net around the bed to forget about insects during night

    Firstly i would like to emphasize that lady from reception desk made very good impression, her english language was really good and she was very polite. Localisation is nice. By the sea and close to restaurants and shops. Hotel is not so crowded so you can get rest and enjoy the quiet stay with nice sunset on the beach. During our stay in Thailand we were in couple 4-star hotels, but this one was better than most of them.

    The location was great - right on Long Beach. Lovely gardens, with lounge chairs around the pool and on the beach where you can watch the amazing sunsets and swim in the beautiful clear ocean. Long Beach is full of funky bars and restaurants, fire twirlers come out at night and many of the hotels host parties and events, so you never have to go anywhere else really, it has it all.
