- It's a brand new hotel, so everything is shiny-new and clean. Safety box in the room has space for a laptop. - Hotel staff is amazing, very friendly and willing to help. Special thanks to Paria for her invaluable piece of advice regarding sightseeing. It saved me time and money :) Mehmet was also very helpful and friendly. - Amazing location. Really short walk for main sightseeing places such as Hage Sofia, Hippodrom, Cisterna Basilica. and just 1 min from tram station which brings you quickly to other landmarks. - Breakfast is nice. I would say "awesome", but for me it was good.

FAQs about hotels in Istanbul

The Best of Asia and Europe

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendour and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.

Take a stroll through the historic centre or the bustling Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.

If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.

Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for your holiday in Istanbul.

All the major sites are very accessible from the tram - get an Istanbulcard. Going to the Hagia Sophia it is necessary to queue first for the ticket and then queue again to get in. We decided to queue for the ticket, then go to the nearby museum before returning later in the day when it was less busy.

i was for 2 days, so i visit the marina and some short trips in Istanbul, but you need 1 month to reach all points of interest. People are warm, kind and very respectful. They help you and guide you every time you ask for it.

Istanbul was a dream come true for me.

Istanbul was a dream come true for me. Walking in the footsteps of the ancients, seeing the Hagia Sophia and the Topkaki palace and all the other sights was amazing. The city is so vibrant and alive and the people r great. Yes, it's touristy and crowded, but if u can see past that it is well worth the trip! I recommend learning a bit about the stories history of Turkey and Istanbul before going as it will really help one to appreciate this fabulous city

I accidentally made a booking and reached out to your team...

I accidentally made a booking and reached out to your team about six hours ago with a humble request to cancel it. Unfortunately, I haven’t received any response yet, and I was charged £137 despite my cancellation request. I kindly request your assistance in reviewing this matter and processing a refund, as the booking was made by mistake. I would truly appreciate your understanding and support. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

One of the most lively and invigorating cities in the world.

One of the most lively and invigorating cities in the world. Western meets eastern with the crazy bazaars and eclectic/upcoming Asian side. Always start with a food tour. You learn (and eat) so much. As well as getting to know your way around. Get cash before you come. Card is mostly accepted, but sometimes cash is better/easier. The airport charges about 25-20% commission. There are many cash exchanges near Taksim with good rates but they only do cash for cash (so if you cannot get TRY bring cash in your own currency). Specific areas: Sultanahmet neighborhood is a must for the main sights, but does not need more than a day (not including Topkapı which needs a day on its own). Other sights throughout Fatih really bring the city's history to life. The Asian side is more young and European, and great place for drinks and real food. Galata area is also fun and interesting, great place for Hammams. Also recommend Fener district! Great food and interesting architecture.

Not expensive place right next to Taksim Square. The location is perfect. Don't expect a luxury place, it is adequate to the price. I was many times in Budak and always have a good experience with the staff. Thank you for check in in the middle of the night. Actually it is not a hotel so I always feel like in a private little flat in the center of Istanbul. I never had any problems in Budak.

Is not the first time when I’m in Istanbul and i can say this is the best place, why ..? Is very clean, in room smells good every day, comfortable, the staff is very nice and polite, and around you can find a lot of restaurants with good food and not expensive. I have some bad experience with 5 stars hotels in Istanbul and this one at the moment is the best 👍

I chose the hotel mainly for the location, close to the Taksim bus stop for the airport bus (I was basically transiting through Istanbul). It’s in a grid of streets with plenty of hotels, restaurants and cafes, and right beside Taksim Square itself. The hotel is fine, fairly small, with clean modern rooms and a good lift. Very convenient and straightforward.

I loved this hotel, which is 5 minutes walking distance from Taksim Square. The staff is very polite and helpful. The best part is that it is a family business. Next time I come to Istanbul, I will definitely stay in this hotel with my family. It was very clean and nice. Thank you very much to Mr. Gökhan and Mr. Orhan who helped with everything.
