First of, the hotel is very modern and designed with attention to every details. The rooms are very spacious and cosy. The beds were supercomfy with high quality linnen. Breakfast is a la carte and the choices and quality were amazing. We really enjoyed the free morning yoga classes with Agnes. It's a few minutes to the beach, but they provide a free shuttle service. However, the pool area is very relaxing and you could order food&drinks. Lastly, but not least, all the staff were superfriendly and trained in hospitality. We had high expectations with a 9,7 rating, but they managed to exceed it. Don't hesitate, this is a gem.

Absolutely perfect! The boho style look of the place is fenomenal! You feel like staying in the middle of the jungle. The staff was also very friendly and nice. The location is great - on the main street (but dont worry, it is very quiet and relaxing place) close to the ATM, money exchange, bakery, store, restaurants and about 5 minutes walk to the beach). If I am coming back I will definitely stay here again!

AMAZING! Breakfast was amazing, a lot of food and very tasteful. Anna is great host, reliable and she will do anything for you. Very warm person. Also, they clean every day, it is very clean. The bed is comfortable, and the stuff is friendly. We went with the baby, it was great with him.

Everything was great, but especially the breakfast and coffee were the best. I'm traveling across Africa, and it was the most impressive coffee I've ever had in Africa. The rooms are modernly designed and really comfortable to relax in, and the air conditioner works well so the room is cool. The owner lends a reusable water bottle for free to reduce plastic waste, and you can fill it with mineral water every day. The road to the beach is about a 10-minute walk, but you can get closer by figuring out how to get there through town. Highly recommended.

The place is amazing - staff, location, facilities, food! I’ve stayed in many hotels in Paje (and Zanzibar) and the Garden is my new favourite! Rooms are so big, the gated area is safe, private and quiet. Staff is so super friendly and fun! Breakfast is amazingly good and I so enjoyed the silence!

The biggest 2 trumps of Mahali Zanzibar were the location and most importantly, the people! Firstly, it's located in the middle of everything, right on the beach and in the middle of Paje beach overlooking the ocean, just a few min walk away from the little market and grocery store. Secondly, the staff in Mahali - every single one of them was such a sweetheart! They were very welcoming and so personal and that in the most positive meaning of this word. People were always smiley, positive and always ready to help whenever you needed it. What's more, the place itself is really nice and clean as well and as I already said it had a nice view over the beach. The room was super spacious. They made our beds, changed towels and cleaned the room every day. This is all really nice! However, more of a luxury. We would have been totally fine with the same towels since it would be better to save water :D But all in all I don't whine.. The only thing that was little funny, not that it was something I did not like, but I was not used to this, was the breakfast. The food itself was delicious and you were able to order literally everything you wanted from the menu, but the way it was organised was strange. We knew that the breakfast was included in the stay, but they did not explain how does it work, if I was able to order a specific amount of items from the menu or there was no limit. Maybe this is something I would recommend them to rethink or at least explain to guests. After we understood though, we just ordered almost everything from the menu every morning. Just the first interaction with the staff at the breakfast table was funny. :)

It was a great experience staying in Tikibeach resort.To start with the hotel setting, it was perfect, next to the beach,the pool next to beach was perfect. Rooms are massive and clean, and bathrooms were neat.They take good care of hygiene, which is really good. Staff members were super kind and always ready to help. Need to mention the names like Ramazan,Bhutan, and Salehi. Overall, the stay there was great. If I get a chance, I would definitely come and see them again in Zanzibar. Good job done by all serving members.

Extremely friendly and courteous.Always smiling and greeting at every opportunity.A special thanks goes to Fadhila who made us and especially my daughter feel very special and welcome.The Manager was also very friendly and polite.Overall I would rate my stay as exceptional.

    Paje is a very awesome and lively place to visit. As a solo traveller, I had no difficulty looking for activities, places to eat, or party, since they were all around. Definitely a place to visit over and over again

    A wide variety of restaurants, good food. Lovey eatery's on the beach overlooking the ocean. Easy to walk around to the market and the local shops. Ideal holiday for those who love the ocean and water sport's, the local friendliness is an added bonus.

    Paje has long white sandy beaches with beautiful turquois water .. a wind surfers paradise. Great for long lazy days just to soak up the sun and enjoy good food. It is very easy to get around Paje, we spent most of our time eating at Bento, quality food at affordable price.

    The Paje beach itself didn't seem that swimmable due to so...

    The Paje beach itself didn't seem that swimmable due to so many kite surfers taking over the beach. But the property has an amazing pool that you can spend hours in, which is what we did and then went down to the beach for sundowners and dinners in the evenings. Every restaurant we ate at was delicious. Our top favorites were Hello Capitano, Zanzibarista, Roots, Plants, and Basil. The Paje Square cafe is nice for coffee and pastries as well.

    The beaches were Picture perfect beautiful!

    The beaches were Picture perfect beautiful! Take the tides into consideration; low tide really pulls back VERY far, but it made for an amazing walk INTO the ocean. I would recommend beach shoes as we did spot a few sea urchint's. High tide was great for swimming. Calm and warm with little to no currents. Lots of Hotels, Restuarants and Bars on the beach, and shops nearby which was convenient. My only issue is that is was quiet dirty. Not on the beach but all the roads around the main beach. Also the Beach Boys, Masai and Hawkers on the Beach was INSANE. Everyone is trying to sell you something. It was extremely annoying. Other then that, Paje is a busy place, with lots of activities and lots to do... Becareful of being taken advantage of regarding pricing, compare and negotiate or you will be hussled...

    I’ll be honest, this was one of the best accommodations I stayed in Zanzibar (I changed 5 hotels). The vibe here is torally different and I really hope I will come back here again. Location is perfect, on the beach. There is kite-surf club, beach bar/ restaurant and many of them are around. Pool is clean and from 11:30 til 4:30 there is nobody, so I felt like all is just for me. And is very safe for solo travellers. I really enjoyed in this place.

    Friendly Hotel Personal. Amazing beach directly at he Hotel. The Breakfast is for Zanzibar Conditions Excellent with variation. The Hotel restaurant is top. I can highly recommend, again an excellent kitchen Chef does a good job. I liked the Menue Card. The relxing areas are comfortable & the drinks are well done. The space of room is enough and comfortable bed. The Housekeeping 10 points. We get daily fresh water bottles, thanks

    The hotel exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival at the hotel, there was a very warm welcome. The hotel pool and bar area was one of the most beautiful and relaxing in Zanzibar. The family room was spacious and equipped with very good and good-quality accessories (beach basket, washing products, etc.). It´s not like 2-star hotel, more like 3+ or 4.
