It's a very nice hotel in the city center. I've got a free room upgrade to a beautiful suite and the staff was very friendly. Since I had to leave very early in the morning, I haven't tried the breakfast but I'm sure it will be good as well. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam for just one night before my flight back to Amsterdam, and it was a wonderful experience. Although the stay was short, I was truly impressed by the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The attention to detail and overall service were equally exceptional, making me feel very well taken care of. The hotel also arranged the transfer from the airport, which cost 120 euros for a round trip. Though the driver was slightly late, it was understandable because my flight landed about half an hour earlier than scheduled. The drive itself took about 30 minutes, which was quick and convenient. While the transfer price is on the higher side, the outstanding service provided by the hotel more than made up for it. All in all, Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam delivered a top-notch experience—even if just for one night—and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.

Everything was good. People, facilities. What impressed me and my family were the staff. 4am we should left to airport. So we couldn't eat breakfast. But they prepared lunch box for all of my family. Sandwiches and fruits. Even though other hotels and people scammed us, only this hotel was welcoming and kind to us. So if you go to Dar. Stay this hotel. You will never regret your choice. Everything! Great location, design, amazing staff and service from reception to concierge to restaurant to room service to housekeeping to laundry! Everyone was so lovely, polite, helpful and professional. Great pool area too and lovely spa I’m gutted to miss. Lots of great restaurants and food options plus a great bar. Breakfast was fantastic! A really wide and tasty range. Also the restaurants do themed nights on various days and I was fortunate enough to catch the African Night and I couldn’t recommend it enough! There was loads of great food, a great atmosphere (packed with locals) and a brilliant live band. It was a bargain too. In fact, I thought the whole stay was great value for money. Loved it! Great atmosphere too! I’ll be back.
