    Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry...

    Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry. Nightlife was very little and not much of an atmosphere. We went to visit Dorney Park which was the highlight of the stay and we really enjoyed it. The water park and water rides close on August 31st as a daily thing. The park then opens only at weekends for the Halloween Haunt which was amazing and well recommended. Real graveyard sets with actors playing Zombies with Halloween attractions that are full of scares. Universal Studios 'Halloween Horror Night' were not as good as this and clearly taken the whole idea from 'Six Flags' Who are the company that owns Dorney Park We also recommend the Lost River Caves. Other than that there is nothing of real interest there. The town is pretty much 1970s in its design and attitude. Next time we go to Dorney Park we shall stay in Philadelphia as it is one hour drive each way. Do not stay in Allentown if you identify yourself or any member of your group as LGBT+ as you will not feel welcome.

    did not see any adult supervision with kids running in...

    did not see any adult supervision with kids running in hallway, kids were not bad, just having fun. kids were 10-12 yr. old group i believe. not sure how many kids were staying in each room, as we were trying to fall asleep. We did not complain to management, just an FYI opinion.

    I love fresh air and the beautiful trees.

    I love fresh air and the beautiful trees. I visited WindCreek Casino where I brought in the New Year and enjoyed Dinner at Outback Steak. Did a little shopping at the mall. Allentown is a fun place to visit

    Only spent 1night, with the exception of the Red Roof Inn that was horrible there were many other hotels in the area. Many restaurants to choose from and our dinner restaurant and breakfast restaurant were excellent.

    Nice place with good food options and stores around.

    Nice place with good food options and stores around. Restaurants are good ad reasonable on your wallet. It is close to Delaware gap if that's on your to do list. There is a nice little petting zoo near Nazareth for kids to enjoy.

    Didn't do much because we were at the fair grounds for the train show. That place was huge. Nice that the farmers market was across the parking lot. Also a few resturant were really close. Had great food. Going to have to come back when there is more time to explore other things.

    Wonderfully large room with a very comfy bed. Free breakfast was good. Shannon was on staff and was extremely friendly. Gave us an idea about restaurants around the area...we got some take out but didn't have any utensils or plates. She gave us some from the breakfast area. Very nice and would come here again!

    I disliked everything about the place.. the place is condemned my luck my room was the one who got it the worst with the water leak I cane there my door was opened without my acknowledge and then telling me just about everything all around the board was poor

    The had ample free parking for a U-hal truck pulling another vehicle. The confirmed our reservation via phone when we broke down on the road and were delayed for check-in. Room size was large enough for 2 adults and a dog.
