    Wasn't crazy about location.

Wasn't crazy about location. Some areas were lovely but some were run down. All the roads seemed to be choppy, and lots of work being done on the roads. Strange, but traffic lights had a very long wait.

This is an incredible stay that should not be missed. The home has amazing history and a phenomenal location across from Emily Dickinsons home. The B&B is meticulously beautiful in every way. If you are interested in architecture, decorative arts, and history you need to experience the dedication and detail the hosts have made possible to bring value and history, comfort ,and pleasure to this stay. It’s a must stay if you have an opportunity to be in Amherst, MA, any time soon! Make a point of visiting on your journey through Western, MA. You will not be disappointed.

The Amherst campus was pristine and memorable in its additions since l attended decades ago. Bucolic location has been upgraded with additional science, athletic and dorm buildings while maintaining the original beauty of its location in rolling hills of New England. The history alone is worth the visit.

The hotel is very run down, looks way worse in reality than pictures. To say it’s a budget hotel, is to do a disservice to the word budget! The rooms have paint peeling off the ceilings and we had to move rooms twice to get a room with functioning aircon/heating! The hallways were very dirty, rooms dusty and bathroom not very clean. Only positives were bed was ok, clean linen and staff were good, really tried to help with the challenges but powerless to solve.

The building itself is absolutely gorgeous, and retains a nice old fashioned feeling while still being comfortable. The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to remember my name and purpose of visit. Full of character and located right in the middle of town, very convenient for Amherst College. The bar is great with a lovely outdoor seating area, and the restaurant food is delicious.

Jasmin was the best ever. She went out of her way multiple times to ensure our comfort in the hotel and was truly very polite and thoughtful and made our stay considerably better. She deserves a raise.
