Exactly the type of place we wanted to stay for our first fall night in Vermont. Claire, Brooke and Bridget have been great and the gentleman out front in the morning gave great directions. We snuck in for dinner just under the wire and it was great. Ps, we r from Canada, and felt blanketed in hospitality from the niagara customs officer, along the i90 and all around Vermont. So to any fellow Canadians, its a beautiful place with great people!

The whole property was so lovely, it was like something out of a movie! The beds are comfortable and a lovely duvet and pillows, the shower was hot and powerful Breakfast was very good , with various options and cooked just how you ask The Eatery is often busy with locals and is a great place to have an evening meal, local well made food, from one of the best salads I have ever had, to delicious chicken tenders and a BLT that my daughter had both nights as she loved it so much, my regret was I didn’t try the pot pie as it looked amazing. There is a little room to play chess and games and a porch to sit on and take in the beautiful building Everyone was so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome, we’re already planning to return. It’s an easy place to have as a base to explore Vermont, and the Chester historic district is worth checking out too.

We loved that place very much! The place was very clean, comfortable with a warm atmosphere. The room was well-equipped with a coffee machine, a fridge and a microwave. We appreciated the technology available in this house: for example USB charge for 3 different kind of device's brands and a very fast wifi connection! The owners, Byll and Cheryl, are so delicious! They made us feel at home. Then Byll cooked a very good breakfast! They allowed us to select what to eat in the morning from a long list of different choices. Oh, how we loved his scrumbled eggs and harsh brown! The view was wonderful and then, last but not least, we enjoyed to have met Hannah, a beautiful and sweet dog! Thank you for everything you donated to us from food to love!
