Blairsville is a beautiful little town surrounded by mountains and very friendly people. The bookstore and Hemlock Trading Company were 2 of our favorite stores. The Hole in the Wall had a wonderful breakfast and we enjoyed the Seafood Festival very much!Guest review byKimbroUnited States - 8.0
Up until a few years ago, I was rating it perfect.
Up until a few years ago, I was rating it perfect. It's not so now. Prices are going uphill and quality vanishing, little by little every time we visit. Traffic is nor a problem, but it's getting there. With a constant flow of Atlanta weekend spenders, most restaurants are becoming more and more expensive (in price) and cheap (in quality). It seems that very soon it will be no more than a tourist / visitors destination, because of the location close to Atlanta and the lakes, and the great scenery. So Nature did it's part, now it's up to us, humans, to appreciate and maintain it. Footnote: Meeks Park and Meeks Park II is, to me and my wife, the best park area we have ever been in, with enough human interference so it's easy and convenient, and at the same time respectful to the Creator. I keep my fingers crossed that future generations will not mess up with it, by doing more than necessary maintenance work.Guest review byIoannisUnited States - 10.0

Everyone we met was so friendly and loved living in the area. The downtown is nice and easy to walk around. Free parking and nice public restrooms. There was no traffic anywhere to speak of even on Hwy 76. The pace is much slower than Florida, and many of the people we met actually moved from FL, so we got a lot of info about relocating to the area. Our only issue is the steep and windy, curvy roads in the mountains that scared the heck out of us. Meeks Park was beautiful and we can't wait to explore rhe other State parks and falls nearby.Guest review byJIMUnited States - 10.0
